Parents Together

Ongoing support group for parents or guardians of children who are currently exhibiting, or who have exhibited in the recent past, suicidal thoughts or behaviors. This free support group is led by trained NAMI volunteers and is a collaborative effort with several health organizations in Washtenaw County. The group meets on first Mondays of the month.

Election Day
Tuesday, November 6, 2018, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The stakes are high, so make it a priority to vote in the midterm election. Need a ride to the polls? Email newsletter@namiwc.org. Other options: Uber is partnering with #VoteTogether and DemocracyWorks to provide free rides to and from the polls. Lyft is also offering free and reduced-rate rides to and from the polls. 

Family Education Workshop
Wednesday, December 5, 2018, 6 to 8 p.m.
U-M Depression Center, 4250 Plymouth Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48109, Room B1742
Workshop offering patients and families the opportunity to learn about depression and bipolar illness while gathering information about risk factors, treatments, impact on families and healthy ways of communicating with each other. The workshop is free but registration is required. Click here to register.
