Update Regarding Educational Programs and Support Group Status

Dear NAMI Washtenaw County friends,

Since the suspension of our educational programs and support groups, NAMI WC staff, volunteers, and board members have been working hard to transition our offline programs to online platforms. We’re pleased to share that some of our programs will be available online within the next two weeks.

However, some of our program offerings may be unable to meet this goal. Our aim is to provide programs for our community as quickly as possible while ensuring that online programs meet high safety and health standards for the people we serve. We appreciate your patience as we continue to learn how to deploy online options in an intentional and thoughtful way.

Please continue to follow our social media channels and website for updates regarding online programming. If you or a loved one need help immediately, reach out to the 24/7 Washtenaw County Community Mental Health CARES line with any mental health questions at 734-544-3050. Also, we are continuously updating a google doc with free mental health resources available in Washtenaw County and nationally.

We hope to see you and/or your loved ones in our online classes and support groups very soon.
