The office administrator tends to the day to day operations of the NAMI WC office and gives administrative support to the Executive Director.

Job Title: Office Administrator (Part-time)
Reports To: Executive Director

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer the phone:
    • Respond to calls, emails and walk-ins for information, general support and crisis
      support
  • Confer with Executive Director, Staff and Volunteers as necessary
  • Manage memberships and donations using Salesforce and NAMI databases
  • Edit and arrange for printing of brochures, newsletters, etc.
  • Mentor office volunteers as they assist with a variety of tasks such as data entry, scanning
    documents and folding newsletters.
  • File government, financial and other documents
  • Attend board meetings when necessary
  • Maintain Board Handbook and prepare board kits for new board members
  • Purchase office supplies and other items needed to maintain operations
  • Submit purchase reports, check requests, bills, and invoices to the bookkeeper
  • Assist with organization and execution of events such as the annual conference and the Mental Health Matters educational programs
  • Develop office procedures manual
  • Organize computer files for the sustainability of operations

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

  • Ability to share constructively perspectives gained from living with and/or living in support of
  • someone with a mental illness
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Computer skills with proficiency in document management, experience with Microsoft Office
    and Google Suite
  • Experience using spreadsheets and QuickBooks software
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar database
  • Superior organization skills appreciated
