Show Your Support with NAMI WC Merch

Order your fall merch before October 14 for pickup at NAMIWalks Washtenaw County

As we prepare to host our first-ever NAMIWalks Washtenaw County event, we’re also offering several new merch items for a limited time. Our new fall designs include a light blue crewneck, an ivory hoodie and t-shirt, a gray zip-up hoodie, and a canvas tote bag. Each item features a NAMI WC logo, along with “Stronger Together” artwork created by artist Liz Aubuchon. Here’s how Liz described the artwork: “I’m a gardener as well as an artist and I spend a lot of time looking at, taking care of, and drawing plants. My favorite plants to draw are those that are fasciated. Plant Fasciation is a kind of variation in plant growth in many different species of plant, including sunflowers. When a plant is Fasciated it grows differently than a traditional non-fasciated plant, and often becomes a mirrored version of itself. I find this abnormality beautiful and thought it was a good visual metaphor for those of us who live with unique brain chemistry. In the center of the sunflower is text that reads ‘Stronger Together’ because as I’ve found from my experience with NAMI, both the community and individuals are stronger when we work together.”

Our fall merch is available for a limited time. Order by October 14 to pick up your order at NAMIWalks Washtenaw County at Gallup Park on November 8. We hope that by wearing this merch we can start more conversations about mental health and raise awareness about NAMI WC’s programs. Additionally, proceeds from the merch sales support our free mental health programs.
