NAMI Washtenaw County is recruiting new Family-to-Family program leaders!
We are seeking family members of people with mental health conditions to join our community of trained facilitators. No teaching experience is necessary. We provide the training, skills, and content needed to be an effective class leader.
Join us Wednesday, May 13, from 6:00-7:00pm online to learn what becoming a program leader involves. Registration is required.
NAMI’s Family-to-Family program is for family members helping to support a loved one who lives with a mental health condition. The class provides participants with practical information about diagnoses, treatments, crisis navigation, community resources, communication and problem solving strategies, coping skills, and self-care strategies in a supportive environment. As a trained leader, you would share critical information that can be life changing for family members.
